摘 要:会话含意理论是语用学的一个重要内容,它的提出和发展使人们愈发认识到会话含意和英语听力教学的某些内在关联。英语听力教学受诸多复杂因素影响,学生经常在英语听力中遇到诸如“信息空缺”等障碍。在教学过程中会话含意对大学生的对话听力的提高起着重要的作用。The theory of conversational implicature is an important content in pragmatics. Since its emergence and development, researchers have realized some internal relationships between this theory and the teaching of listening in English. It is generally believed that learning listening is of great complexity. College students often face a number of barriers in English listening. One of the factors that greatly influence the students in English listening is that there are some missing links which often make students feel confused. This paper applies the theory of conversational implicature to the analysis of the phenomenon. In this paper, the author attempts to explain its importance in the English learning of college students and reveal certain characteristics in English listening by giving a preliminary explanation to the theory of conversational implicature.
