摘 要:补缺假设(王初明2003)认为目的语语境知识的缺失是造成母语迁移的原因之一。本实验研究以情景反应类型、年龄和语言水平为自变量,发现:1)补缺作用发生的频度基本随学习者年龄的增大而增高,但语言水平的高低对频度变化的发展路径有重要影响;2)补缺作用发生时受试语言表达的反应时明显长于未发生时;3)在三个自变量中,年龄与语言水平存在显著的交互作用。The Compensation Hypothesis (Wang 2003) illustrates one of the causes of L1 transfer: by way of compensating for the lack of authentic contexts compatible with L2 use, L1 knowledge comes in, thus activating those L1 forms which go with it, and resulting in L1 transfer. With situation responding type, age, and language proficiency as the independent variables, the current experimental study finds: 1) in general, frequency of the occurrence of the compensatory effect increases in tandem with age, while its developmental variations are heavily influenced by the learner's language proficiency; 2) the reaction time for the subject to respond is significantly longer when the compensatory effect takes place than when it does not; 3) age and language proficiency bear significant interactive effect among the three independent variables.
