摘 要:本文对异形回指理解和联想回指理解给予新的解释。认为这两者都有转喻动机。激活先行词就意味着激活一个与之相关的矩阵域,其次域与之同时激活。从理论上讲这些激活的次域都可以成为回指可及的域,但由于认知背景、现时语境和个人语用因素的引导和限制,转喻推理最终限定在一个具体的次域上,这样回指词与该次域产生概念映射,实现回指理解。在这个过程中次域与整体矩阵域有转喻关系。本文指出回指理解是一种语用推理,回指词理解有转喻基础。This paper gives a new explanation to anaphora. It is argued that indirect anaphora and associative anaphora both have metonymie motivation. It is claimed that anaphora understanding is a kind of pragmatic inference during which the activated antecedent can be regarded as a matrix domain including many sub-domains highlighted at the same time. Theoretically all the activated sub-domains can be the possible domains directed by anaphom. But because of the interaction of cognitive background knowledge,immediate context and individual pragmatic factors,the final target domain will be fixed onto some certain sub-domain within the matrix domain, In this way metonymy relation between the matrix domain and the sub-domain forms the understanding base of indirect anaphora and associative anaphora.
