摘 要:以62名留学生为被试,采用对多项选择题进行选择判断的实验方法,探讨了无语境、中语境和强语境三种条件下留学生汉语惯用语理解的特点。结果表明,在无语境和中语境条件下,留学生主要从字面意义方面理解汉语惯用语;在强语境条件下,留学生主要从比喻意义方面理解汉语惯用语。本研究结果初步表明,留学生主要从字面意义上来理解汉语惯用语,中语境对留学生理解汉语惯用语的比喻意义没有促进作用,然而强语境能促进留学生理解汉语惯用语的比喻意义。This paper is devised to discuss effect of idioms comprehension by foreign students in China, in the non, middle and strong contexts. There are sixty-two foreign students involved in this experiment. They were instructed to select correct answer. The results showed that these students mainly comprehend literal meaning of Chinese idioms in non and middle contexts, and they mainly comprehend metaphorical meaning of Chinese idioms in strong context. It also demonstrates that only strong context promotes comprehension of metaphorical meaning of Chinese idioms by foreign students.
