摘　　要：吸引浮士德永无休止追求的不是任何确定的现实目标,而是一种非宗教的宗教境界,一种可望而不可即的精神之光。非宗教的宗教境界内涵包括:精神实质——人的向善的最高理性,符合人性的博大理想;追求态度——永远虔诚地、义无反顾地向前走。在永无穷尽的追求中人的精神获得救赎。It is not so much a definitely realistic goal as secular sublimity that tempted Faust to pursue. The secular sublimity is similar to but far from a religious one, and it is a spiritual light that can be seen but will never be caught in heaven. It means the following two aspects： one, the rational for goodness, which is in accordance with the great ambition of the mankind; the other, the attitude to the pursuit, which promotes people to advance loyally without worrying about the past till the spirit is redeemed in the endless spiritual journey.
