摘　　要：词汇的不断丰富是语言强大生命力的重要表现。杜撰词在英汉两种语言的新词当中占有相当大的比重。本文以PeterNewmark对杜撰词的定义为基础,分析了英汉两种语言中杜撰词构成类别的异同,并以零度和偏离为理论基础,分析了英汉杜撰词的共同本质,即对语言系统的偏离,最后引入关联理论的观点认为英汉杜撰词有着相同的认识过程即第一解读→第二解读→综合解读。The great vitality of a certain language can be seen in the increasing enlargement of its vocabulary. Nonce words make up a considerable proportion in both English and Chinese. The article , based on the definition of nonce word by Peter Newmark and zero-deviation theory, compares English with Chinese in the formation of nounce word and analyzes its common core ,the deviation of language system, in both languages. The article also uses correlation theory and concludes that English and Chinese have the same process of recognition of nonce words, the first-second-comprehensive reading mode.
