摘　　要：提出了一种基于数据融合的边缘检测方法。该方法对原始图像分别采用sobel算子和基于离散小波变换两种方法提取边缘,然后将两种方法的检测结果进行数据融合,得到一幅新的边缘图像。实验证明,融合后的图像边缘集合了两种检测方法的优点,是一种有效的图像边缘检测方法。A new method for image edge detection based on data fusion is presented, which detects the edge of original image with DWT and sobel respectively,then produces a new image by fusing the two results above. Experimental results show the proposed method provides clearer and smoother edges than that using ＇ sobel＇ or ＇ wavelet transformation＇ algorithms alone.
