摘　　要：本文对艾伦(Allen)课堂英语词汇教学技巧理论作了介绍,并结合其他学者的观点提出了该理论对英语教学的积极意义和不足。文章最后提出这一理论给外语教学带来的启示。This paper attempts to introduce and comment on Allen＇ s vocabulary teaching technique theory. Both the advantages and disadvantages of this theory are then pointed out. Finally some implications are put forward to the teaching of English vocabulary.
