摘　　要：周作人是以激烈的反传统姿态开始他作为现代思想者的历程的,但是他的早期思想,尤其是他在五四时期的文化建设思想,明显与传统儒家文化存在着内在的、必然的联系,只不过被其强烈的反传统姿态所遮蔽。理解这一点,是理解周作人后期公开标榜儒家,甚至以儒家自居的逻辑起点。As a modem thinker, Zhou Zuoren began his literary work with fierce anti-tradition. His early thought, especially his culture thought during the ＂May-forth＂ period, was obviously associated woth the tra ditional Confucian school culture, but only it was covered by his sharp anti-tradition. This is the logic starting point that we understand Zhou Zuoren＇s later thought about his parading the Confucian school.
