摘  要:以问卷调查和访谈的方法,对非英语专业203名本科学生的学习动机、学习行为结果以及对英语学习成败的自我归因等方面进行了分析研究.调查发现学习动机对学习行为、效果产生很大影响,它直接影响着学生学习英语的态度、方式与行为;不同水平的学生及其对英语学习成败结果的归因倾向存在着明显的差异.研究表明,在英语教学中激发学生的学习动机固然重要,但改善各种主客观条件以提高学习行为质量才是最为关键的,只有抓住了这个关键,才能保持动机、行为、效果之间的正向一致和正向不一致,消除它们的负向一致和负向不一致,以提高学习行为效果.With the methods of questionnaires and interviews, the author investigates the motivation and behavior of the non-English major students, and how the students attribute success and failure to the factors concerning College English learning. The detailed analysis of the findings shows that motivation affects learning behaviors and efficiency deeply. Causal attribution accounts much for the individual differences in motivational behaviors. Study also indicates that it is important to initiate and sustain English learning motivation, but it's more crucial to improve sub- jective and objective factors to better the quality of behavior, thus balancing English-learning motivation, behavior and effects and achieving the best teaching and learning results.
