摘　　要：金属材料工程是一门理工结合、涉及知识面较广的应用型专业。在该专业的实验教学中开设内容丰富、可操作性强的综合性和设计性实验,是提高学生的独立思考能力、创新能力、分析和解决问题能力以及实施素质教育的有效方式。同时,开设综合性和设计性实验需要有高素质的实验教师队伍作保证,向学生开放实验室、加强设备管理并对实验的效果进行跟踪评定。Metal material engineering science is an applied subject which relates to comprehensive knowledge. In the course of its experiment teaching reformation, opening comprehensive and designing experiments with rich content and good maneuverability is a quite effective measurement to improve students＇ ability of independent thinking, creativeness, analysis and solving practical problems. And it is also important to execute the comprehensive quality education. Meanwhile, the experiments requires high quality instructor team, opening laboratory, improving equipment management and evaluating the experiment effects constantly.
