摘  要:本文介绍了在同一台单缸汽油试验机上分别采用浴盆形和压缩比不同的碗形燃烧室进行动力性、经济性、排放指标和燃烧过程分析的对比试验研究。结果表明,采用碗形燃烧室,发动机的总燃烧期缩短,循环变动下降,适合采用较高的压缩比。在排放指标大致相当的条件下,动力性改善,节油效果达10%以上,具有良好的实际应用价值。在国产汽车发动机向小缸径、高转速、高压缩比的方向发展时。This paper describes comparative experimental studies on the combustion process and the engine performances between bowl in piston and bathtub combustion chambers in gasoline engines. The experiments are carried out on a single cylinder, four stroke test engine having a cylinder bore of 100 mm and a piston stroke of 115 mm. The experimental results show that the engine employing the bowl in piston combustion chamber gives a higher combustion rate and better anti knock ability. Thus a higher compression ratio and leaner mixture can be used, resulting in better fuel economy, higher power output, and lower cycle to cycle variation. As compared with the bathtub combustion chamber, the exhaust emissions of CO and HC are considerably reduced but NO x emission is raised. Therefore, while the vehicle engines trend towards high speed, high compression ratio, and small cylinder bore in China, this combustion chamber will be worthy of being used widely.
