英语区域性变体之认知分析

摘　　要：英语已经成为一门全球性的语言,随着在世界各地的传播,形成具有浓厚地域特色的各种新英语,即英语的区域性变体,英语变体的产生有其历史背景。语言学家Kachru提出了世界英语(world Englishes)的三个同心圈理论,认为多种区域性变体的存在具有合理性。研究英语区域性变体对于更好地对外交流具有现实意义。English, increasingly globalized, has engendered various new Englishes with distinctive local characteristics, namely regional varieties of English, along with its popularization worldwide, which has profound historical background. Braj Kachru proposes Three Concentric Circles of World Englishes and proves their rationality. The study on such varieties will surely be of practical significance in learning English and in the international exchanges as well.
