摘　　要：隐喻是一个同时具有语义和语用性质且常见的语言现象,必须在一定的语境中才能实现其价值和意义。介绍了隐喻和语境的基本概念,从情景语境、上下文语境、文化语境三个方面探讨了语境对隐喻表达与理解的重要作用,尤其突出了文化语境的作用。从而得出结论:语境是隐喻生成的基础,它包含了隐喻合理理解所需的必要因素。The metaphor is a common language phenomenon with semantic and the language, and its value and the significance must be realized in the certain context. The paper introduces the basic concept of the metaphor and context, discusses the vital roles of context on the metaphor expression and the understanding from the situational and the cultural context, especially the role of the cultural context. Hence the paper arrives the following conclusions： the context is the foundation of the metaphor production, of which contains the essential factors of the metaphor and understanding.
