摘 要:Although there are some affinities between Adorno’s negative dialectics and postmodern thought, the fundamental philosophical positions are different. They both derive the grounds of real domination to the metaphysics and criticize the metaphysics. Adorno takes a dialectical attitude to metaphysics, which includes negation and affirmation simultaneously, while postmodernist attempts to reject the metaphysics totally. Adorno upholds the Subject-Object frame of metaphysics in his metaphysics critique, while postmodernist claims that subject is dead. Adorno tries to reach a non-identical state between subject and object through the reflection of subject, while postmodernist attempts to deconstruct metaphysics and goes back to a pre-metaphysical state.
