学习词典中的礼貌原则

摘　　要：由于中西文化在礼貌原则方面的差异,英语学习者的中介语中常出现由于礼貌原则把握不当而产生的语用失误。为了帮助学习者减少此类语用失误,学习词典,尤其是英汉学习词典,应力求做到全面、系统地反映礼貌原则。从语用学的角度看,礼貌原则体现在语言的3个层面:词语、句子和语篇。本文分析了现行国内外具有代表性的学习词典中应用礼貌原则的方式及其存在的不足,并就如何改进提出了建议。　In the view of pragmatics,politeness principle exerts influence over the usage of language at the levels of lexis,sentence and discourse.As failure to observe the principle is one of the problems of language learners,this paper suggests that learner＇s dictionaries,as important aids for foreign language learning,should represent the relevant information to a maximum degree.After an examination of how such information related to politeness principle is conveyed in some authoritative monolingual and bilingual learner＇s dictionaries,we make suggestions on how future learner＇s dictionaries should improve in this regard.
