摘  要:五年制护理专业学生学习英语的远期目的就是运用英语进行工作,因此,如何提高学生的交际能力成为外语教学的首要任务;交际策略是提高交际能力的重要手段之一。本研究以社会建构理论为基础,从交际策略培训方面着手,探索提高护理专业学生英语口语交际能力的途径,并进一步探讨交际策略培训对专门英语教学的现实意义,希望对我国外语教学改革有所启迪。To the five-year nursing undergraduates, as the purpose of English learning is to use it in their future work, how to improve their communicative competence (CC) is of great importance. Communicative strategy (CS) is one of the basic approaches to developing CC. The empirical study which is designed on the theoretical basis of social constructivist framework is done by mix- ing the CS training on approximation, circumlocution and appeals into English teaching for the period taking as long as one semester. The results show that the strategic competence is improved and give a positive answer to the research question: Does CS training have any positive effect on the trainee's oral English communication proficiency?
