摘　　要：文化背景的差异性是影响翻译实践的一个重要因素。东西方文化差异制约着人们对英汉词语的理解与翻译。英汉词语的理解与翻译蕴含着丰富的文化内涵。动态对等翻译理论让译文读者与原文读者同样顺利地获得相同或基本相同的信息。文化差异总是与一个民族的文化背景及社会生活的变化密切相关。文章通过实例着重探讨处理翻译中文化背景差异的常用方法,及如何使用动态对等理论更确切地将源语的文字信息和内涵移植到目的语中。Cultural background differences are very important factors in translation. In translation, attention must always be paid to the cultural differences hidden in the words and phrases, which are closely related to the cultural backgrounds and the changes of life of a nationality. Dynamic equivalent translation theory target readers and the original readers can access to the same or similar basic information. This paper offers suggestions to bridge the cultural gaps. Methods of treating cultural factors in translation are given to faithfully transfer the cultural information from the source language to the target language by using Dynamic equivalence.
