从认知语言学角度浅析英语阅读中隐喻思维的运用

摘　　要：隐喻是一种常见的语言表达形式,是一种人们熟知的生动语体。但由于隐喻的意义取决于词汇的创造性运用,且有赖于一定的想象力和具体的语境,这在阅读中对于准确理解英语隐喻句子造成了一定的困难。本文从认知语言学的角度论述了隐喻与认知及语言的关系,并阐述了在英语阅读中运用隐喻思维以提高英语阅读能力。Metaphor is a very common way of expression, so it is a well-known and vivid style. As the meaning of metaphor depends on the utilization of creativity and needs certain imagination and context, it causes difficulty to understand those metaphorical sentences in reading. This paper discusses the relationship among metaphor, cognition and linguistics from the aspect of cognitive linguistics. It puts forward the utilization of metaphorical thinking in order to advance reading ability.
