中英女大学生在称赞及其回应上的对比研究

摘　　要：称赞及其回应是人们生活中经常使用的言语行为。本文通过问卷调查来收集语料,对中英女大学生在称赞语及其回应的使用上存在的差异进行了定量和定性分析研究。研究结果显示:中英女大学生在称赞语的使用频率和称赞语回应策略上存在许多差异。这些差异可以从中英两国的社会和文化的角度等加以阐释。Compliments and compliment responses are much frequently used speech acts in people＇s daily life.Using a questionnaire to collect data, this paper examines the differences between Chinese and British female college students in compliments and compliment responses. The statistic results show that there do exist differences between them on this speech event. All the differences can be accounted for by different cultures and social systems of the two countries.
