摘　　要：加强普通高校教师队伍建设,对江苏实施教育强省战略具有重要意义。江苏普通高校目前存在教师总量不足、教师学历层次总体偏低、教师思想素质参差不齐、教师队伍管理体制落后等问题,这些制约了高等教育事业和全省社会经济的发展。推进江苏省普通高校教师队伍建设,必须转变观念,创新教师队伍发展思维,优化教师队伍结构,建立健全教师管理制度。For higher education, it is of strategic importance to strengthen the construction of teacher corps so as to help implementing the strategy of ＂ Developing the Province through Education＂. Problems exist with regard to teacher corps, which has blocked the development of higher education, economy and society ： the lack of teachers in colleges and universities, the relatively low academic degree of teachers, the heterogeneous teacher qualifications and backward management systems. The construction of teacher corps in Jiangsu calls for the shift of education perception, the innovation in the way of teacher development, the optimization of the structure of teacher corps, and the establishment of a sound teacher management system.
