摘　　要：文学接受是影响文学创作活动的重要因素之一。老舍小说题材的选择深受英国现实主义大师狄更斯的影响。狄更斯和老舍分别把创作定格在自己所熟悉的城市——伦敦和北京,并把下层市民作为自己的创作对象,反映现实黑暗,揭露社会问题,并加以批判、抨击。Literary reception is one of the important factors that influence literary composing. Foreign literary has a great impact on Lao She＇s writing and that＇s multi-cultural literary reception. Charles Dickens -- the great realist had a deep influence on Lao She＇ s choice of theme. Lao She also chose common residents of Beijing as his main objects of writing just like Dickens＇ writing about the ordinary people in London. Both of the two reflected the corruption of reality, exposed social problems and then criticized those phenomenon.
