摘　　要：本文对加拿大著名文论家弗莱的主要批评理论体系进行了批判性的审视,阐释了其理论中的关键概念,如批评的科学性、神话原型批评等。作者试图总结弗莱理论的突出特点,如奥秘性、历史循环论、对作者主体性和原创性的否认等。文章的结论是,弗莱一方面强调科学性,一方面又注重神话批评,二者的不和谐造成了他理论系统的内在矛盾。This article scrutinizes critically the critical system of Northrop Frye, the renowned Canadian literary theorist. The author expounds some key concepts within his system, such as the scientific nature of criticism and myth-archetypal criticism, and attempts to summarize the salient features of Frye＇s theory, including mysticism, historical cycles, the denial of authorial subjectivity and originality. The conclusion is that the inherent incompatibility between Frye＇s emphasis on scientific objectivity on the one hand, and his stress on myth criticism on the other, creates an inherent contradiction in his theoretical framework.
