新建本科院校发展之路探索

摘　　要：作为中国高等教育从精英教育向大众化教育转型的产物,新建本科院校已逐步成为我国高等学校的重要组成部分。新建本科院校既面临着学科专业水平不高,经费不足,教育环境差,教师整体水平较低等诸多发展困境,也具有教师队伍年轻而富有活力,地方政府倾力支持,地域特色明显等发展优势。新建本科院校要实现较快发展,关键是要做好以下工作:(1)解决办学定位与办学特色问题;(2)搞好学科专业建设和课程建设;(3)牢固树立应用型人才观和教学中心观;(4)正确处理改革、稳定、发展的关系。The newly-founded institutions have become one of the pillars of higher education in China, as the outcome of higher education in China transforming from the elite to mass education. However, there are lots of strengths and weaknesses over their development： their weaknesses, such as low level of disciplines, poor inverstment, bad educational environment, inadequate quality of faculty. Their strengths as follows： youth and vigor, srtrong support from the local governments, distinct regional characteristics, and so on. To implement the rapid development, the newly-founded institutions need to （ 1 ） locate themselves and obtain their distinctiveness; （2）build up the disciplines, professions and curriculum; （3}set up the practical-talent and teaching-centered values; （4 } deal carefully with the relationship among reform, stability and development.
