摘　　要：英国天才诗人威廉布莱克的著名短诗《老虎》对老虎的活力和能量中体现的雄浑之美与和谐之美进行讴歌,该诗表达了诗人的辩证哲学观:恶是一种自然状态,它和社会进步必不可分。This paper is intended to analyze the theme of William Blake＇s poem The Tiger from two aspects. First,. the poem is a eulogy of the beauty displayed in the tiger＇s energy, power and symmetry. Second, the poem reflects Blake＇s dialectical thinking, that is, the evil is a natural state and an inseparable part of social progress.
