摘　　要：任务教学法是一种以教师为主导、学习者为主体的教学模式,它能够有效地激发学生兴趣,增强学生学习动机,充分发挥学生的主动性与创造性。文章以任务教学法的理论为指导,结合任务教学法在大学英语课堂教学中的应用,提出相关的思考意见。Task- based teaching method focuses on learner rather than teacher,that is to say,the teacher only plays a guiding role in study. It is an effective way to arouse the student＇ s interest, strengthen their motivation, exert their learning autonomy and creativity. Based on tile theory of ＂Task - based teaching method＂, the thesis elaborates how to apply the method in college English class and then gives some concerning recommendations.
