摘　　要：Halliday建构系统功能语法的目的之一是为语篇分析提供一个理论和分析的框架。本文以英汉儿童故事为材料,运用功能语法的手段进行分析,主要探讨英汉两种语言在儿童故事语篇结构组织上的异同,同时研究功能语法的语篇分析方法对汉语语篇的适用性。One of the aims of Halliday＇s Functional Grammar is to provide a framework of theory for text analysis. In order to explore the differences and similarities of English and Chinese in organizing a fairy tale, this paper analyzes English and Chinese fairy tales within the framework of Functional Grammar. It also studies the applicability of Functional Grammar towards Chinese texts.
