摘　　要：从与日俱增的汉英语言及文化趋同现象出发,分析了翻译与趋同的关系,重点从译者应运用的翻译原则与翻译方法2个方面进行英汉互译策略探讨,建议译者在翻译过程中要综合考虑翻译目的、读者接受心理与特定语境,运用恰当的翻译技巧使翻译与趋同相辅相成地促进跨文化交流。Starting from the increasing phenomena of linguistic and cultural convergence between Chinese and English, the paper analyzes the relationship between translation and convergence. It then emphatically explores the related translation strategies from the aspects of translation principles and methods. It finally puts forward a suggestion： translators should comprehensively consider the translation purpose, readers＇ psychology of acceptance and specific linguistic situation and apply proper translation techniques to make the interdependent translation and convergence promote cross-caltural communication.
