培养WITT(智慧型)英语专业高级人才——英语专业人才培养模式的新探索

摘　　要：人才培养模式是专业发展的关键性问题之一。对于工科院校的英语专业来说,如何结合地方人才需求,发挥学校的优势,构建复合型、应用型的人才培养新模式,是一个刻不容缓的挑战。在教育部2000版《高等学校英语专业英语教学大纲》的指导下,在学校"知行合一,双核协同"的人才培养模式的总体框架下,通过对宁波市乃至浙江省的英语人才需求状况的分析以及职业能力的需求分析,本文提出了比较科学合理、符合社会要求、具有本科教学特色,充分反映宁波工程学院英语专业特点的WITT人才培养新模式。WITT人才的培养不但强调"双核",即核心课程和核心技能,同时强调人才培养过程中各种因素的"协同"协调。同时,论文就如何优化教学资源,保障WITT英语专业高级人才的成功培养提出了一些探索性的建议。The paper, based on needs analysis of professional abilities as well as English talents in Ningbo and Zhejiang Province, puts forward a relatively scientific and reasonable talent cultivation mode - WITT mode which meets the social needs, features undergraduate education and reflects specialty characteristics of Ningbo University of Technology. The cultivation of WITT talents emphasizes not only ＂ double cores＂ , i. e. , core courses and core skills, but also the cooperation and coordination of all elements during the process of talent cultivation. Meanwhile, several exploratory suggestions are put forward on how to optimize teaching resources and to ensure successful cultivation of quality WITT talents.
