摘　　要：在暨南大学图书馆华侨华人文献信息中心华侨华人文献专藏建设实践基础上,着重论述在印刷型华侨华人文献收集过程中,如何在熟悉文献总特征的前提下,利用网络书目和华侨华人研究的学科语言,将专科文献学知识与华侨华人专业学术素养有机结合,筛选、采集到全面、系统、连续、专业的学术性资料,为华侨华人学术研究提供充分的文献保障。另外,拓展文献捐赠与交换等非常规采选渠道对于华侨华人资料,尤其是灰色文献的有序化集纳也至关重要。Based on the experiences of special collection of overseas Chinese documents at center for overseas Chinese documents and information data of The Library of Jinan University, this article discusses how to collect and select the scholarly and professional paper publications on overseas Chinese which are overall, systemic and consecutive and thus well lays the foundations for overseas Chinese studies. Above all, the librarian should be familiar with the general characteristic of these documents, and then make full use of the online bookiist and disciplinary terms about overseas Chinese studies, combining with the knowledge of subject bibliography and academic qualities regarding overseas Chinese studies. Finally, its very important to extend non-routine collecting channels such as the documents donation or exchange for the overseas Chinese documents, especially for those gray literatures.
