摘　　要：《黑暗的心脏》有多种阐释,主要是由于小说中存在与读者期待暗合的"呼唤结构"。本文将探讨该小说文本中内在的"读者召唤结构"模糊的故事类型、中空的叙述分层、不同观点的内外层叙述者、矛盾的人物建构、对故事的淡化处理。Heart of Darkness has had variety of thematic interpretations. The main reason lies in its internal appeal structure to meet the readers＇ horizon of expectations. This thesis analyzes the internal appeal structure in Heart of Darkness： ambiguous story type, the hollow intra-narrative, the two contending narrators, contradictory characterization, and the author＇s downplay of the tale.
