对当前历史观念两个问题的分析

摘　　要：当代中国史学,正呼唤着理论思维能力的加强。历史研究者,如果缺乏对历史研究终极目的的关怀,缺乏科学理论的指引,必然迷失在由无数具体事实(资料)堆积而成的汪洋大海中。在这种情况下,人们着力越多,可能离作为一门科学的历史学的学术传统、基本精神、学科本质与探索目的越远。历史学科所面对的一系列重大基础性学术问题,包括理论前提与方法论,同时,也是哲学所必须关注、不能回避的问题,这就使这两门学科之间的对话与交流成为可能。2007年10月9-10日,中国社会科学杂志社与复旦大学哲学学院、复旦大学国外马克思主义与国外思潮研究基地、复旦大学当代国外马克思主义研究中心共同主办了"哲学与史学的对话:唯物史观与历史评价"全国学术研讨会。与会学者围绕学科对话与学术创新的必要性、唯物史观在学术研究中的方法论意义、唯物史观与历史评价等问题进行了深入探讨。这里发表的是与会5位学者的笔谈。显然,他们对这些问题的讨论是探索性的,我们希望学术界积极关注,参与讨论,将问题引向学术的深处。Contemporary Chinese historiography calls for a strengthening of our capacity for theoretical thought.Without a concern for the ultimate goal of historical studies and the direction of scientific theories,historians will be lost in the sea of countless specific facts(data).In such cases,more effort only leads to further deviation from the academic tradition,fundamental spirit,disciplinary essence and exploratory goals of historiography as a branch of science.Historiography as a discipline is faced with a series of important basic scholarly issues including theoretical premises and methodology,issues that are also unavoidable in philosophy.This provides a common ground for dialogue and exchanges between the two disciplines.On October 9 and 10,2007,the symposium 'Dialogue between Philosophy and Historiography:Historical Materialism and Historical Evaluation' was held under the combined auspices of the Social Sciences in China Press and the Fudan University's Department of Philosophy,Research Base for Marxism and Other Intellectual Movements Abroad,and Center for Contemporary Marxism Abroad.The symposium discussed in depth topics such as the need for disciplinary dialogue and academic innovation,the methodological significance of historical materialism in academic studies,and the materialist historical view and historical evaluation.Presented here are five of the symposium papers.We hope their explorations,which are clearly tentative,will get active responses from the academic community,so that the discussion may be deepened.
