摘　　要：分析了英语名动转用主要子类别的频率及其认知基础,探讨了从语法隐喻的角度阐释名动转用的错误,指出名动转用潜在的非人格化倾向,并阐明了其对教学、词典编撰和汉译英的启示。This paper explores the frequency of main sub - types of denominal verbs and their respective cognitive foundation. Moreover, it is found that the practice of interpreting denominal verbs from the perspective of grammatical metaphor has innate defects, Finally, the implication of denominal nouns in teaching1 dictionary compilation and Chinese -to -English translation has also been discussed,
