摘　　要：中国现当代文学理论中的本质真实论乃是在中国特殊的社会历史条件下,政治和文学结盟的必然产物。尽管在各个历史时段有所变化,但其表现社会政治历史本质的核心内质从未遭到动摇。就文学本性和其表现能力来看,文学无力自足承担反映社会政治历史本质的重任,本质真实论不能成立。文学是以艺术(审美)形式、形象表现、精神情感三元质相结合来把握世界的一种独特的精神方式。The Essence Reality Theory in Chinese Modern Literary Theory is the natural combination of politics and literature in the special historical and social context. Though this theory may vary at different time, its essential quality of representing society, politics and history will never change. However, in terms of the nature and representation capability of literature, it cannot take such an important task as to reflect the truth of politics and society, so the Essence Reality Theory should be questioned. Literature is a special way of understanding the world or integrity of artistic form, image representation and emotion.
