摘  要:为了设计出一种能够快速自动识别定位车牌的方法,首先对获得的彩色车牌图像进行灰度化和二值化,然后对经二值化处理的车牌图像进行水平和垂直投影,同时充分利用车牌的几何特征,共同完成车牌的区域定位。经VC++验证表明,该方法定位速度快,定位精度较好。The chief concern of the paper is to research a method for automatically recognizing and locating Vehicle -license -plate quickly. Firstly, the method changes the color image into gray image and the binarizing image. After that, the license plate in the binarizing image is processed by using projection technique in both horizontal and vertical directions, and at the same time, the area of license - plate is located by mostly using its geometrical characters. By using VC + + as the testing tool, the result shows that this method is good in real time and accurate in location.
