英汉翻译“语气”的动态对等研究

摘　　要：语气对于文学作品来说至关重要,从某种程度上来说,它决定了该作品的特定风格。好的译者应该在翻译过程中时时考虑到"语气问题",并且尽量达到原文和译文语气间的动态对等。文章通过对三种不同文体风格的英译汉实例进行分析比较,同时引入奈达的"动态对等"理论来强调译者要对语气的重要性进行关注。文章着重阐述了体现文学作品风格的文体标记,并通过图表说明检验翻译效果的方法及差异。The tone of a literary writing is quite essential because it can, in some degree, decide the certain style of the writing. A good translator should succeed in keeping the problem of ＂tone＂ in his mind and try his best to achieve a dynamic equivalence of tone between the original text and the translated text. This analytic research aims at bringing to translators＇ attention to the significance of the tone in the process of translating by citing three different styles of translation instances, which include a political style of writing, a scientific and technical style of writing and a literary style of writing and also by quoting the theory of ＂dynamic equivalence＂ of Eugene Nida. This article lays emphasis on the stylistic markers, which embody the stylistic characteristics of certain writings. Two diagrams manifest the differences between the traditional way and the new way of testing for translation and in the end a reasonable and convincing solution of the problem of tone is put forward.
