摘　　要：随着我国经济、文化的发展,出现了越来越多的自行出版的英语报刊,如China Daily,21st Century,English Week-ly,China Today,Beijing Weekend,Shanghai Star等。这些国内版的英语报刊不仅语言比较地道,而且内容贴近我们的现实生活,适宜不同水平的英语学习者阅读。本文将着重探讨报刊阅读应用于阅读教学的必要性,分析其对提高学生阅读能力的作用,并进行了英文报刊阅读教学的实践与探索。As the development of economy and culture, there are more and more English newspapers appearing in our country, such as China Daily, 21st Century, English Weekly, China Today, Beijing Weekend, Shanghai Star, etc. These English newspapers not only have fine language, but also closely relates with our real life. This paper is going to talk about the necessity and importance of applying English newspapers reading in reading teaching, and give some methods to it.
