摘　　要：课程改革以来，中学历史教材发生了许多积极变化。但是，要想进一步深化改革、实质性地改善教科书，必须首先完成一个关键任务：建立一个科学的中学历史课程结构，以达到历史教育所独具的目标。这些目标包括：民族精神的核心—爱国主义、科学的历史观和正确的方法论。如果我们的改革达不到这些教育目标，就失去了历史教育的根本意义。Since the reform of history curriculum, many positive changes have taken place in the new teaching materials of history course for middle schools. However, for the sake of deepening the reform and improving substantially the quality of history textbooks, we have to complete a crucial task first, that is establishing a scientific structure of history curriculum for middle schools, in order to achieve the unique goals of history education. These goals include., the core of natiqnal spirit—patriotism, scientific conception of history and sound methodology. If our reform fail to achieve such goals, history education would lose its fundamental significance.
