摘　　要：文章介绍了英语自主学习的研究背景及理论基础;通过调查问卷,分析了大学生英语自主学习现状;针对存在的问题,以建构主义学习理论为基础,提出了大学生英语自主学习能力的培养策略,认为在英语自主学习过程中,从明确教师与学生各自承担的角色、加强学习过程中的协作学习、创设有利英语自主学习的环境、重视英语学习过程的自我评价等四个方面加强对大学生英语自主学习能力的培养.This paper introduces research background and theoretical basis of the English autonomous learning, analyses present condition of college students＇ autonomy in English learning through questionnaire, and suggests some measures as how to develop the ability of English autonomous learning based on constructive learning theory. Some measures are put forth to train learners＇ autonomy： both teachers and students should know their own roles, cooperative learning should be strengthened, favorable autonomous learning environment should be created, and self-evaluation should be stressed during autonomous learning process.
