摘　　要：英语听力是英语语言学习的重要内容和关键环节。听力过程短暂却复杂,其中的各个阶段都会对听者形成不同的障碍。听者只有具备一定的能力,才能克服障碍,顺利完成该过程。本文从听力过程的三段论入手,分析听力过程各阶段的主要障碍,并提出听者应具备的能力以及提高能力的具体策略。English listening is an important skill and also plays a vital role in the language learning, listening process contains many factors and finishes itself very quickly, Listeners will encounter different obstacles at every stage of it. Only with certain knowledge and abilities can listeners overcome the obstacles and finish the listening process successful. Based on the discussion of three stages of listening process, the author tries to analyze the main obstacles at every stage, and propose the knowledge and abilities listeners should own to overcome the obstacles and discuss the strategies for the improvement of the listening abilities.
