摘　　要：英语教学过程不仅是知识传授过程,也是情感交流、学生智能发展的过程,所以要想提高英语教学质量,取得事半功倍的效果,首先要在开发学生的情感因素上下功夫。本文仅对情感因素中的其中一个因素——动机作一详细阐述。English teaching process is the process of not only imparting knowledge, but also communicating between the teacher and students and developing the intellect and ability. Therefore, English teachers should pay attention to the affective element if they want to improve the teaching quality and achieve twice the result for half the effort.. In this article the author only explains one of the affective elements motivation.
