“新世纪大学英语系列教材”《视听说教程》试用效果分析

摘　　要：本文从编写指导方针、教师作用、教学效果三方面分析了“新世纪大学英语系列教材”《视听说教程》的试用情况。文章认为这套教材的编写指导方针合乎我国国情，教材能切实满足我国大学生提高英语听说能力的迫切需求。对试用学校师生的调查结果说明大部分师生对这套教材持有肯定的评价。文章还强调了教师在课堂上的关键作用。This paper discusses the compilation guidelines, teacher＇s role and teaching effect related to Learning to Speak： An English Video Course. It holds that the guidelines derive themselves from and cater to the current situation of college English teaching and learning in China, and the coursebook serves the pressing needs of college students to improve their English listening and speaking competence. An investigation of opinions of students and teachers reveals positive comments on the coursebook. The paper emphasizes the important role that teachers should play in the classroom.
