摘　　要：对比手法对《水浒传》人物性格的刻画有着重要的意义,主要体现在:区分相似性格特征;强化性格差异的鲜明性;展示人物自身性格的复杂性;体现人物性格的多层次性。The paper discusses the significance of the use of contrastive technique in the book The Water Margin . It focuses on the description of characters and other aspects , such as distinctions between the similar character traits , the personality differences and the complexity of the characters portrayed in the book . The purpose of the discussion is to indicate the diversity of the characters .
