礼貌现象在跨文化交际中的语用失误分析

摘　　要：礼貌准则作为语用准则之一,也蕴涵着丰富的文化内涵。尽管Leech的"礼貌原则"具有普遍性,但是,不同文化背景的人在遵循这一原则以及对影响遵循这一原则的因素的解释上存在着差异。礼貌具有文化特性,也就是说在不同文化里评价礼貌的标准和认识礼貌的方式是不同的,在此基础上,人们进一步对跨文化交际进行探讨时,就会发现礼貌现象的文化特性必然会导致跨文化语用失误。Politeness,as one of the pragmatic principles, is rich in cultural connotations. Although Leech＇s maxims of politeness are common in all cultures, people with different cultural backgrounds may behave differently in abiding by the maxims and in explaining the factors influencing this kind of abidance. Politeness is universal, however, with culture-specific. And that leads to the different criteria people hold towards etiquette. From this point, a further study of intercultural communication can come to the conclusion that culture-specific of politeness will inevitably leads to cross-culture pragmatic failure.
