论英语后缀派生词的功能及对翻译的启示

摘　　要：针对英语后缀派生词各类丰富功能尚未系统开发的现状,深入分析了体现英语语言特征的后缀派生词的生成及其语法、语义、修辞等功能,认为对其生成与功能应用的分析有助于更科学使用后缀派生词,提高表达效果,有助于促进二语学习者产出性词汇能力的提高,有助于做好相关翻译工作。The paper profoundly analyzes the formation of suffix derivatives, a complex yet important part of English vocabulary,and their grammatial,sem that a profound study will help L2 Learners to apply an su tic and rhetorical functions. The paper points out ffix derivatives and thus will be beneficial to bettering the expression effect,to enhancing the L2 Learners＇ productive vocabulary ability and English ex pressing ability and to doing a good job in translation.
