语境:翻译的“奠基石”——从三方面透析语境在翻译教学中的功用

摘　　要：语境是语用学重点研究的对象,语境同翻译是密不可分的。翻译是对意义在两种不同的语言之间进行的等值转换,在翻译的过程中,语境是翻译者能否准确把握原语的意义实质,并将其转移到译语当中的关键。本文从译语词义的确立、文化意象的传译以及模糊语言的处理等三个方面,论述了语境在翻译中的重要性和不可替代的作用,并对翻译教学和语境的关系作初步探讨。Context is studied as an focus in the Pragmatic field and it is closely connected with translation. Translation is the equivalent conversion of the meaning from one language to another. In the process of translation, context is the key for the translator to exactly grasp the substance of the original content and transfer it to the version. This paper discusses the impo^nce and effects of context in the course of translation from the three aspects： the establishment of the acceptation in the version; the transference of the cultural imago; the exchange of the adding and omitting translations, and the management of the fuzziness in the original language. This paper is to initially survey the interrelation between translation teaching and context from these aspects mentioned above.
