Foot-binding undertaken by ancient Chinese women is a kind of twisted and morbid aesthetic phenomenon in Chinese culture. In order to satisfy men's needs of morbid aesthetic psychology, women's natural feet were bound, which was thought beautiful, and became men's aesthetic object. And under the rulership of man, it was more rampantly developed into extreme morbidity. However, both male and female conformity psyche play a vital role during the process and push forward the development of this aesthetic abnormality. This morbid appreciation of foot - binding connotes people's special aesthetic consciousness that "smallness" is taken as prettiness, which was further projected to the appreciation of female's "small feet" .
