摘　　要：A.S.拜厄特是当代英国著名的学者型作家,对理论的高度自觉是她小说创作的一大特色。本文探讨了她的近作《传记家的故事》中作家对于后结构主义理论、特别是"作者的消失"和"历史文本性"理念的想象和虚构,认为它是一部将后结构主义理论的反思作为主题和情节,"文学地"揭示其局限性的小说。As a sophisticated academic novelist,A.S.Byatt often writes with a high consciousness of literary and philosophical theory,which becomes very characteristic of her literary works.This paper argues that her recent novel The Biographer's Tale is a critical fictionalization of some post-structural discourses,especially the ideas of 'disappearance of the author' and 'the textualization of history'.Through the literary manifestation,the novel thematically exposes the inadequacy of the theory of post-structuralism.
