摘　　要：论述了阶梯函数逼近的思想方法，并将其应用到下述几个方面：（1）用阶梯函数逼近连续函数；（2）Weierstrass定理的初等证明；（3）用有理函数逼近有界变差函数；（4）Markov系统中的多项式逼近问题。Illustrates the way of Staircase function approximation and the application in follow four aspects(1) Approximation of continuous functions by staircase functions;(2) The elementary proof Weierstrass theorem;(3) Approximation of bounded Variation functions by rational functions;(4) The Problems of approximation in Markov sysem.
