摘　　要：本文在分析多媒体教学的优势与不足的基础上，探讨了语料库引入大学英语教学带来的四大转变：教学资源的转变、教学观念的转变、教学模式的转变、思维方式的转变，以及语料库在大学英语教学中的应用途径，突出了在线语料库在大学英语教学改革中的重要地位，其中重点介绍了美国杨伯翰大学（Brigham Young University）Mark Davies教授制作的在线语料库BYU—BNC的五大功能。Based on an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the present multi-media teaching, this paper attempts to probe into, by applying corpora to college English teaching, the four major changes, which involve teaching resources, teaching concepts, teaching models, and modes of thinking as well. The possible access to the application of corpora is also discussed. The emphasis is laid on the role of on-line corpus BYU-BNC by Mark Davies （Brigham Young University）, and its five important functions are explored for the college English teaching reform.
